These are our kids. Cutest darn kids I've ever seen, but then all parents say that, don't they? And they really are best friends. When we let the dog out, the cat stands by the door and waits for him to come back in.
Marlowe (on the right) is a Border Collie mix (we think the other half is Sheltie), and Guthrie (on the left), well that's anyone's guess. Both of them came from Save-a-Pet.
Marlowe is named after Christopher Marlowe. We got him shortly after we moved into our house. There were still boxes all over the place. We hadn't named him yet, and one day he went over to a box in the living room and peed on it. At the top of the box was my wife's copy of the Riverside Shakespeare. That pretty much decided it for us. : )
Guthrie is named after Arlo Guthrie.
